Above: collaborators, uploads, and chatting with Gobbler 2.0.
Working with Collaborators on Gobbler 2.0 is a simple process. Once you've set up a Workspace, head to the Gobbler Web App and add Collaborators by email address via the "Manage" tab in the top section of the Workspace (see above image). See below for the interface for managing collaborators:
Above: Managing Collaborators in a Gobbler 2.0 Workspace.
To add a Collaborator to a Workspace, simply type the collaborator's email address into the box labeled, "Invite collaborators by email address", and select "Save Changes". To remove a collaborator from a Workspace, click on the check mark next to an existing collaborator's row, then select "Save Changes".
In addition to leaving comments with uploaded projects, you can chat with collaborators using the Gobbler Web App.
I get an error : "Invalid Client_Key", I searched help but nothing on the topic.
I just get the Address wasn't understood.
Hi all - just a reminder, if you need support, please contact support@gobbler.com
Gobbler gave up replying to my support tickets - I think they consider Gobbler2 to be "finished" now, so whatever it's intended use is, I think it's time for us Gobbler1 users to jump ship and move on unfortunately.
Seriously !!! gobbler..Wake up...I have writtent numerous emails to gobbler...support but nobody answers....Are you guys at gobbler support sleeping ? This is getting really annoying...!!!! I paid for this service...and now it turned into an absolute waste of time and money...I am still using..gobbler 1.0 and i am facing so many problems like...bad link to clients all the time....The gobbler 2.0 is ridiculously slow...and also it does not send you notifications when someone downloads your content, which the gobbler 1.0 does ....When will I ever get a reply ? Is there a customer care call centre ?
Today I tried uploading a 1.5 GB folder with a protools session...but the gobbler 2.0 app says it is 45 GB !!! How is this possible ?
I use version 1 with no issues and transfer easily 25 gig per week among editors and clients. Gobbler 2 is beta stop using it
Derek...I just sent a 9 GB file to my client and my client says link is dead and I resend it again..and the same error occured again...My client sent a snapshot..of the error message...
I had to use google drive to send it finally !!!
are you sending public links? send a link to yourself as well and see if that works - I have them log in as me so they can upload and download
Yes..I have to ...Most of my clients dont use gobbler..I cant give my log in credentials to my client..as I have some sesnitive data stored with the storage...which are related to other clients...And moreover that is not a real solution....
downloading 9 gig from a browser is not a good idea, the coolest thing about gobbler is that if packets are dropped, when using the client it will pick up where it left off, not to mention the other reasons. Are they using a .mac account by any chance?
btw i agree with gobbler 2.0 its a total disaster - if you are looking for a projects solution, Pertino.com looks like the coolest shit out there
No...They are not using a . mac account..He might have an icloud account...But what's that got to do with this ? Also Gobbler say you can send public links to non gobbler users and they can download from browser...Or it should do like how Aspera is doing...The moment you click the download package link it asks you to install the free aspera connect App...
I don't want it to force a client to install an application, if you want that then just purchase aspera - they are very good at what they do. I have had issues with .mac addresses is the only reason I ask but I like that you are getting angry with me - it makes me want to continue this conversation
No Derek. Not at all....I am not getting angry at all...I am just asking questions...But anyway..I am chicking out Pertino..Thx for that
cool, if you try pertino let us know what you think - looks like they have the best encryption in the industry. I keep meaning to try out their free version but havent had time to. If you want we can try sending files back and forth and test it out

Why, if you chose to "Back up" your project to Gobbler, does default route, save it to a folder called "Project Back ups"? Seems logical at first... but then why is there a completely separate option of a "Workplace" for sharing this project with a collaborator? Why would I back up to gobbler unless I was working with a collaborator? Why doesn't it give me the option of selecting which folder I want to back up to? Aside from that as an issue in itself, this folder called "Project Back ups", is owned by someone else!!! The 'Admin' role of 'MY' "Project Back Ups", is taken by a former band mate of mine!!!! How is this possible? It looks like any work I save to Gobbler is accessible to him.
